As your Doula I will support and assist during labor and birth, using comfort measures such as: breathing, relaxation, massage, and positioning. I will provide physical, emotional, and informational support to you and your partner before, during and after labor and birth. I value women led births and a mother’s intuition to birth in her best position.

Birth Doula Package | $800
DURING PREGNANCY

During your pregnancy we will have up to 2 in person or virtual prenatal meetings. At these meetings we will get to know each other, discuss your birth preferences, birth plan, preparation for labor both physical and mental, different comfort methods and more. I will also be available for support by phone calls or texts during waking hours. I will be on call support starting at 38 weeks.
DURING LABOR

During labor I will be available for support via phone during early labor. Over the phone I can offer advice on preparation and comfort as well as when to head to the hospital/birth center. As you move to active labor I will provide continuous in-person labor support. I will attempt to get non-professional photos of your birth and baby if requested. I am a doula first so my first priority is supporting you so photos will be taken in moments I am available to do so.
AFTER BIRTH

After birth I will continue to stay for up to two hours to help the family get settled. During this time I will assist in establishing breastfeeding, if that is the plan, and bonding.

I will also provide 1 postpartum visit in the first 6 weeks. This visit can consist of whatever the new family needs. I will also be available via phone for any postpartum support needed for the first 3 months. Additional postpartum visits can be provided for an additional fee.
IMPORTANT
As a doula, I am not a medical professional. I will not perform clinical tasks such as vaginal exams, fetal heart checks, blood pressure, etc. I will not make decisions for you or speak to your care provider on your behalf. I will do whatever I can to get you the information you need to make your own informed decisions. I will discuss your concerns with you, suggest options, and remind you of your birth preferences.
INVESTMENT
A NON-REFUNDABLE RETAINER FEE OF $350 IS DUE UPON SIGNING MY CONTRACT TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT ON MY CALENDAR. THE REMAINING TOTAL IS DUE BY THE 36th-WEEK OF YOUR PREGNANCY (unless another timeline has been contractually agreed upon). IF YOU NEED DISCUSS A CUSTOM PAYMENT PLAN OR DISCOUNTS PLEASE CONTACT ME.
My fee takes into account the average amount of time I spend with each client during pregnancy, labor/birth, and the postpartum period. It also includes the value of my professional training and experience, as well as personal compensation and cost of materials.
